To observe, to focus and to blur, to seek sharpness, to frame, to compose and to capture the subject forever, and then trying to understand. This may be the way, a kind of flirtation or indirect interaction with our immediate context, through which we travel, letting ourselves be carried away by everyday life without noticing its colors or grayscale, its beauty or deterioration, in loss, in modernity and the archaic, in the sometimes logical and mostly absurd.

Contemporary social processes and phenomena plunge us into a certain state of emptiness, blindness, amnesia. Each time, perhaps unconsciously, we choose to be less rational, a kind of programmed robot wakes up within us and we spend our lives repeating the same actions, thinking in the same way, working under schemes, with a hermetic gaze.

We are a rare kind of automaton, a sensitive and fragile machine that sometimes reacts against expectations, pretending to transgress its routine environment, also already reconfigured. Then, innovation and change are reduced to small attempts, ephemeral spaces, ideas that jump to say that everything can be less rigid and more spontaneous. There will always someone who puts the eyes, and not the camera, in a correction effect.
